Review of Tootsie (1982) by Troy F — 04 Dec 2010
Tootsie is come off as one of the best films of the 80s, a great comedy, and probably the best cross-dressing film! Just watching Dustin Hoffman switch back and forth between roles is not only funny, but it really is amusingly interesting by how different of a person he really is between both roles, and how trying to keep things balanced between both of his identities goes from being the best thing ever in his career as an actor (or say actress) leading to success, to getting out of hand and frustrating to a humorous and serious degree of matter.
I like how outside of the humor that it also teaches a thing or two about the life and the experience of working in the acting scene. Tootsie is simply a classic.
