Review of Toolbox Murders (2004) by Gwen F — 24 Nov 2006
OMG im really really really shocked, this must be one of the best modern horror movies I have seen in a very long time. I know the screenplay has a lot of flaws and sometimes it doesn't make sense but while you're watching it you don't care coz you will be taken away by the suspense brought by the amazing job of Tobe Hooper.
You won't sit on the edge of your seat, you won't even sit on your seat. I spent the last half hour of the movie standing up covering my face. It is very nerve breaking. He just raised the tension in an unexplained way and he will take your breath away.
But one thing the movie had in common with other horror movies is the lame performences by the cast.
