Review of Too Late (2016) by Ryan B — 23 Mar 2016
Not without moments of amateurishness, TOO LATE nevertheless overcomes its test of an audience's patience with a freshness of originality to the noir genre not seen since PULP FICTION. I have never seen a detective film quite like this before, taking unpredictable narrative turns with a committed formal conceit that by the end is nothing short of breathtaking.
It's not even April and I've already seen the first movie of the year that quite likely will make my top ten.
