Standard family Christmas movie I guess, I've always liked Sean Bean, he's almost a bit part player in this really, very much on the periphery, its unusual to see him in a film where he's not shooting or beating people up! Although there are moments in this where you felt it was about to happen...
Its quite nicely worked, as one actor plays the two lead roles, it almost a modern day Oliver Twist in some respects, fairly watchable for a broad audience. Its a lot better than the box office figures would let on.
