Review of Times Square (1980) by Maxwell D — 12 Apr 2008
It's not that the performances weren't good: they were pretty good for what they were. It's not that I didn't find the NYC locations great: I did. The soundtrack was good, as well. Despite all that, it never really came together.
Granted, the studio is greatly to blame for that, but that's not my problem. What I saw, butchered or not, was just the seed of some potentially good ideas that never came to fruition.
