Review of Tigerland (2000) by Adam H — 11 Nov 2009
A war movie where not a single scene takes place in the war itself. A would-be war hero who wants nothing to do with war. Tigerland is a unique and brilliantly crafted movie.
The film is driven by some brilliantly down to earth performances, skillful directing, and stunning cinematography that achieves beauty with it's grittyness. It's such a rare treat to see a film that reminds you why you developed a passion for cinema in the first place.
