I don't know why it took me so long to see this! OMG! George Clooney was phenomenal as always... Ice Cube, my absolute FAVORITE Rapper-turned-Actor was AWESOME and incredibly souful in this role...
Mark Wahlberg took me right off my feet tho' - he is one of the most amazing actors of the 90's-Millenium era. He is truly under-rated, the man's got skills! This movie had me talking to the damn screen! I choked up a few times in the more dramitic scenes, but I really fell apart at the end - the waterworks.
.. "if it makes ya' cry - it affected you"... this film seriously affected me. Added to my personal top three war films along with Platoon & Full Metal Jacket...it bumped Pearl Harbor down to 4.
