Review of Things We Lost in the Fire (2007) by Chris S — 04 Jul 2008
All of the characters in this film are people that the audience can really care for and feel sympathy towards. All acting performances are great, and David Duchovny has only a minor role but a powerful and outstanding one.
The different character interactions are incredibly well-done, and the music is also something to look out for. Susanne Bier proves to be an auteur with the recurring images of eye close-ups and the usual unpredictable and touching melodrama.
