Review of They Look Like People (2016) by John K — 04 Nov 2016
An impressive piece of psychological horror, where what is implied is often far scarier than what is shown. By featuring a protagonist who is unhinged, the film creates tension in almost every scene he's in, while the quick cut directing style is incredibly impressive.
While some of the more nuanced character moments don't always add up, the ending is powerful and won't quickly be forgotten.
