I am a big fan of Terry Gilliam and if you are you will enjoy this film. Needless to say the style is unique and pure Gilliam. Gilliam stated " ... it the final part of a dystopian satire trilogy or "Orwellian triptych" begun with 1985's Brazil and continued with 1995's 12 Monkeys.
" Of the three films I believe 12 Monkeys is the best. In some ways I think Gilliam's 'Orwellian' interpretation distracted from the core subject of 'The Zero Theorem.'.
