Have to say I was surprised by how good this movie was! I have been let down one too many times with Mormon movies and so put little interest in most but TWATG was very well acted well directed and with a very intriuging plot.
Never read the books so can't compare it to those but as a movie in itself it was very well done. My only beef was the number of unsettled plotlines, but I am sure most are answered in the second movie.
Still I like to watch movies (even if they have sequals) that answer questions that are brought up.
