Review of The Wee Man (2013) by Howard G — 17 Oct 2013
The story of Glasgow crime figure Paul Ferris is average stuff from Ray Burdis. It uses every cliché in the book, contains some dodgy acting and offers up nothing new. The scene in the nightclub to the Teddy Bears Picnic is very Twin Peaks but works well.
There are some positives, John Hannah is excellent as Tam McGraw and it has no annoying voice over, but overall it is watchable and better than alot of other straight to DVD British gangster flicks but still pointless.
