Review of The War Room (1993) by Mitchell W — 17 Mar 2008
I really liked the style of this film - honest, direct, intelligent. It spins a little in favor of the Clintons, but less than you might think.
Interestingly - there's very little footage of Hillary. For someone who claims to be a veteran of political battles, she was persona non grata - not even conversations about her were in the film.
That's unnatural - most politician-spouses get involved in campaigns and, often, the staff resents their involvement so...I suspect any reference to her was purposely cut out.
So add this (Hillary's involvement in the 1992 campaign) to the list of things about Hillary kept private: tax records since 2001, lists of donors to the Clinton library/foundation, Hillary's schedule and records as first lady and a list of her earmarks.
