Review of The War of the Worlds (1953) by Marko K — 28 Sep 2007
This will never get old. If I need to say best scifi movie ever made I would most often say this one is it. Sometimes it might be something else dependind how I feel at the moment. This is as '50s scifi as it gets but this does not contain same ammount of fear of communism that other american '50s scifi movies has. Effects are really unbeleavable if you compere them to anything from that era.
This has few of my all time favourite scenes with much emotion and some thing to tell. But I won't go telling the key points of plot.
New version is just pale shadow of this one. I don't like that they make that one. Now I have to mention that I mean this one when I talk about War of the Worlds. Must see for anyone who like scifi.
