Review of The Village Barbershop (2008) by Wrik S — 20 Mar 2009
Sweet and cute little tale of a small town barber, who goes broke and is hounded by complete nut-cases, but meets this young woman who is also going through a pregnancy, being thrown out by a punkass boyfriend, and the both of them get along after the initial hickups.... and what happens in the and: their businesses turn out well, everything falls into place and things are hunky dory once again!!
The story has been repeated too many times in so called run-of-the-mill movies, and it gets boring that way.... but however, with a bit of decent acting, and a reasonable direction, the film comes out well and is a good boring evening buster...
