Review of The Vicious Kind (2009) by Chelsea D — 02 Apr 2010
It's rare for me to come upon a character study in which I am pleased to see a person more painfully sarcastic than my highest aspiration. A very bitter man, who has been estranged from his father for years, becomes a frequent nighttime stalker to his father's house after driving his college-aged brother home for the holidays.
Could it have something to do with his need to have his brother's girlfriend who just happens to be along? Very well acted, steady-paced, and emotion-filled film. My expectations were far exceeded - highly recommended.
