"The Time That Remains" narrates metamorphosis of Palestine and Palestinians starting from Arab-Israel War in 1948. During Israel was spreading out over Palestine, Palestinians depopulated as they immigrated neighboring countries under compulsion of Israel military forces.

Consequently, Palestinians became minority time by time where Suleimani's perspective looking through(conceptual: "be remain"). Elia Suleimani signifies(humorvoll and poetical) the particles in process between majority and minority beneath a generation, by resistant fighter father's passive resistant son.
