Review of The Tillman Story (2010) by Tami R — 20 Aug 2010
Run, don't walk to see this movie. It is worth the price of admission and then some. A truly satisfying documentary that is equal parts biographical, dramatic, humorous, heartbreaking, and ultimately haunting.
The cover-up of Pat Tillman's friendly fire death and the injustice the U.S. government and military enacted on his family is shockingly indecent and immoral. I'm glad the Tillman family got to share their side of the story.
It is obvious to anyone that based on the facts of this case, the Tillman family were wronged. This helps set the record straight. Pat Tillman did not die in vain. His life serves as a symbol of true American heroism and honor.
His family serves as a symbol of honesty, justice and strength. And the Oscar for Outstanding Long Form Documentary goes to . . . . . .
