Review of The Thieves (2012) by Jason K — 24 Apr 2013

Well this is a nice surprise! Top of this fabulous cast is the very charismatic and talented Yun-seok Kim, the king of the Korean box office currently, Lee Jeong-jae whose comeback appearance is the first in over 5 years, along with many other big box office actors of Korea.

This cleverly written script gives each character great amount of screen time so none of them get lost within the story and we learn about each one and why they do this for a living. This is a great film that is way cool, funny, entertaining, with lots of action.

I loved the scene where they are chasing, shooting, and running (sort of) all while hanging on the side of a building. Great stuff and pure, wonderful entertainment. Now.....that's a movie!!! This one was a huge box office hit in Korea, grossing over $7 Million! Its running time is a little long, but well worth every action packed minute, with clever sexiness and wit interwoven throughout.
