A horror classic disguised as a Sci-Fi thriller, The Terminator is a near perfect film. If it werenï¿ 1/2(TM)t for dated special effects it would be. Itï¿ 1/2(TM)s well deserving of its 100% audience score.
While itï¿ 1/2(TM)s sequel is lauded as the best in the franchise, Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m still partial to the original with its synth-filled score, small scale feel, and world building. Aside from the Halloween movies(1978 and 2018) itï¿ 1/2(TM)s my favorite horror film.
