Horrifying story about an Iranian woman put to death because of her husband's lie. This movie is both terrifying and eye-opening, the fact that stoning still occurs [and can be so easily brought about] is sickening.
This movie is based upon a true story which took place in 1986. I had tears in my eyes watching as the actors brilliantly brought this nightmare to life through film. Women are treated like garbage all around the world, this movie is another look into how bad they are treated in many Muslaim societies.
"Honor" killings are no way to please God... Wonderful movie, horrific reality. :(.
