Review of The Spirit (2008) by Amanda G — 20 Jun 2010
The script is at times a poupurri of cliche lines - not that good. However, it does manage to be funny and sexy. The characters are very good: Octopus' dumb helpers make the movie. But the best of it, what makes it a treat for the eyes, is its art direction.
The images and colors are truly outstanding and in perfect keeping with the tone of the story being told. Frank Miller's created a visually stunning movie-comic yet again.
