Michôd delivers yet again. Animal Kingdom was an amazing film, but The Rover surpasses it. The slow pacing, amazing acting and raw, but extremely beautiful cinematography give a mesmerising experience to the viewer.
I am absolutely convinced that Michôd is headed for greatness, even though he does not care if his movies are appealing to the grand masses. He is a very unique director, and The Rover is a very, very unique masterpiece.
