Lisa: "Did you get your promotion?" Johnny: "Nah." (pause) Lisa: "You didn't get it did you?" And there you have an example of the dialogue from a film that fully embraces the "Dance like no one's watching" mentality, except in this case the mindset is: Make a movie like no one will see it. Tommy Wiseau's master/mutilatedpiece will give you the quintessential movie experience of your lifetime. Notice that I didn't define the experience as "best" or "worst"...that is entirely up you. However, for me, it was so.
Exhilaratingly disconnected and flawed in it's (lack of) movie-making technique that, when combined as a whole, "The Room" becomes the pinnacle in "so bad it's good" viewing. Yes it is on Blu Ray. Yes, I will be buying a copy for screenings at my home. God bless Tommy Wiseau.
