It's so bad that it was funny. But there was some artistic choices like the warm inviting vibe of the attic (that was supposed to be scary, btw) that was nice to look at. The actors and actresses themselves had a lot of potential, and the jump scares fell flat along with the rushed suspense- so I was thinking perhaps the director himself was lacking.
The writing seemed rushed as well. It reminds me of essays I used to write in high school- the start was ok but then it all went to hell. No pun intended.
