Believable love story against the background of world war 1 and the Armenian genocide that convinced Hitler that he could wipe out the Jews and Gypsies without interference from the rest of the world.
Clark Gable was set to star in a movie about this genocide, but Turkey threatened to never allow any of their films into Turkey if they went through with the film.
I highly recommend this film.
