Review of The Poker Club (2008) by Guido S — 08 Apr 2013

This was a twisty-turny thriller that I grabbed for $3 at Big Lots, and I think it was worth about that much, entertainment-wise. The overall set-up of a group of boozy and or stoned friends who accidentally kill a burglar, then hide the body eventually gives way to more of a complex plot behind the scenes, leading me to believe that the novel this was based on might be more interesting, in that it would give you more time within the character's heads.

Worth a rental.
