Review of The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes (2005) by Jonathan S — 19 Mar 2009
An intriguingly beautiful and ethereal enigma of a surrealist film. Feels like an enchanting dream. Definitely requires multiple viewings. The Brothers Quay don't follow any fairytale narrative conventions; they invent their own and their own way of telling a story.
Lovely if a bit puzzling.
