There is a very good reason that most of Van Damme's latest movies have been direct-to-video, including (but not limited to) formulaic and droll plots, bad acting, and low production values. The sub-par quality of this film illustrates these reasons quite adequately.
..but I can't say that I'd recommend watching it to experience the whole thing first-hand.
