Review of The One I Love (2014) by Alex G — 07 Dec 2014
Showcasing the power of originality and clever storytelling. The film builds from being 'the power of therapy come to life' into an intriguing concept-driven premise until morphing into an unsettling horror.
This is a character study from all angles, but just as much a commentary on being human. Brilliantly performed and unpredictable (save possibly for the final act), this is the perfect example of why anything is possible on any budget.
