Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by Brit S — 10 May 2006
Crusty old Walter Matthau and the inimitable Jack Lemmon, another of the unbeatable male pairs in movies. This is Matthau's finest hour in the comedy arena. If you've only been exposed to this Neil Simon story via the TV show with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall, you must do yourself an entertaining favor.
Please see what you've missed, this great story idea brought beautifully to life by two of our greatest actors.
