A first-rate spy film. Pierce is in top form (even at his age) and the film is savvy and knows its audience well enough to prey on our paranoia and even offer up a few twists and surprises. The plot is complex enough for a proper spy film and the core story is worthy of the pile of bodies that ensues.
IF YOU LIKE THIS SORT OF THING, this is the film for you. A proper Bond film without the ridiculous double entendres.
