Review of The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter (1990) by Shannon M — 16 Oct 2010
After feeling disappointed re-wathing the original, I was pleased to find that the sequel was just as awesome as when I watched this movie as a kid. It is unusual to find a sequel that betters its original, but this is the case for this trilogy.
The themes and tones of of the movie are sensational. There is plenty of adventure an a great journey to follow. The characters are well developed and incredibly relatable. This movie ill actually make you feel something.
The green screen effects are basic at best but we need to remember the time in which this film was developed. Technology has come a long way since this movie was produced and as such we need to ignore this details whilst enjoying the film.
This was one of the great films from my childhood and continues to be so.
