Review of The Music Never Stopped (2011) by Erika B — 23 Mar 2011
It was quite very dramatic at times, It is formulaic in the sense that you've seen the cut-to-the-past type of editing in other films before to make it more dramatic. And yet overall, it was the sincerity of it all, the balance of the past and the present storytelling that was beautiful.
Slowly, the father builds a new kind of relationship with his son. Really moving, really powerful. I must admit I got choked up a little bit in the last scenes. WORTH WATCHING!
