Review of The Mummy's Curse (1944) by Andy F — 08 Sep 2018
A fairly dismal end to the 1940s run of Universal mummy movies. Rehashing the plot time and again of the first 3 films while adding little new. Lon Chaney looks great once again as The Mummy and the 'monastery' set is spectacular.
The best bit of the film though is undoubtedly the appearance of Ananka from the swamp - superb imagery and ghoulishness.
