At first I didn't like this movie, but it has come to be one of my favorite thrillers of all time. A lot of people don't like it because it lacks cheap thrills and is a bit long... but if you invest yourself into it, it truly is scary.
Just try to watch it alone at night and then tell me you don't think it's effective.
