Review of The Missiles of October (1974) by Peter K — 30 Dec 2016
Tense, gripping, fascinating look at a few days when the world came closer than it ever has to Annihilation. 70's underrated staple William Devane makes a perfect John F. Kennedy, and Martin Sheen is just as good as Bobby Kennedy.
The unpolished look of the film actually helps it make the viewer think he or she is there with the Kennedys and their staff and explores the real motivations of the individuals at a critical historical moment.
Top notch.
