Review of The Minus Man (1999) by David S — 03 Oct 2007
The film's slow and glacial pacing can prove off-putting to most but those who embrace its easy-going sensibilities will find a rather engrossing character study with hints of the surreal, all anchored by strong performances from the entire cast (yes, even Owen Wilson is well cast as the kind and meek stranger that rolls into town).
Indeed, the film is sparse on narrative but it's definitely an unconventional to the thriller genre.
