Review of The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) (2017) by Alec B — 19 Oct 2017
Not exactly new territory for Baumbach but I appreciate that while his character remain insufferable, his own cruelty as a writer seems to have subsided. We see this family as deeply flawed people not monsters.
Also, Adam Sandler has fulfilled his "One good performance every few years" contractual obligation and can now return to embarrassing himself.
