Review of The Mechanic (2011) by John B — 13 Aug 2016
An admittedly dumb and cliched plot involving an assassin and his training of the son of a man who he assassinated, it is nonetheless a thoroughly entertaining film because of Jason Statham. Not a wandering muscled bag of mumbles like Stallone or Schwartzeneggar, Statham is charming and witty.
His quick rise to prominence is no accident.
