Review of The Mangler (1995) by Toby-Linn S — 21 Dec 2009
Not too bad of a movie, Ted Levine and Robert Englund are awesome in it, despite Englund's character not even existing in the short story. The short story has more heart than the movie, but that frequently happens when translating Stephen King to the screen.
The ending was pretty good as well, but they didn't have to add in that very last scene, it wasn't necessary. Special effects were pretty cool, the mangler looked very scary, especially in the final battle, lol.
That was cool. All in all, see it if you love Stephen King and/or cheesy horror movies, I'm sure you'll enjoy it on some level!
