Review of The Lost Bladesman (2011) by Johnson C — 09 May 2011

As usual, the movie does NOT match the original '3 kingdoms' story at all.... donnie yeh is seriously under utilised, not tat many fight scenes, no disrespect to donnie but he does not have the look or feel of guan yu at all..... the story's bloody messy as well, y the 'love' interest?... doesn't make any sense or value add to the movie, aside from casting a (smewat) pretty face to distract the audience... but failed...

2 stars, 1 for donnie n 1 for jiang wen's great performance, as always, for his portrayal of cao cao. tats all.
