Review of The Long Day Closes (1992) by Bill T — 12 Jun 2009
One of the greatest examples of direction, a master stoke of story telling, few films have ever been so fully realised as this. Terrence Davis never rushes and the entire film is as gently breathes naturally from one scene to the next, the camera flows and lingers in moments capturing life, it's stunningly beautiful and accomplished.
