Review of The Lives of Others (2006) by Binku T — 16 Jan 2011
This will be one of few movies that I gave full ranks in Netflix, IMDb and Flixster. Based on the period before the Berlin wall falls. During that time peoples' lives were limited and concealed to think outside of socialism and themselves.
The portraits the truth of the society through an artist and his revoltingly actions. But all those cognates to an eye of a policeman who were spying on him.
I live the script and how the movie builds up with the hurtful truth of socialism which runs a secret capitalism underneath.
Personally I'm glad that I left my beliefs in socialism and all political stuff.
