Review of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) by M. C — 20 Oct 2014
A guilty pleasure for a girl denied comic books and read the classics instead. To get a comic book movie adaption of these was a dream come true. An early 'Avengers' for young little children reading big old books.
Hazy nostalgia forbids harshness in this particular case. That said, it has never failed to entertain me or those I share it with. Good campy fun whose chief flaw was ending with a sequel hook it never got.
