I admit that it took a couple of viewings of this movie for me to love it. The more I saw it, the more I noticed and gradually the pieces all began to fit together:the majestic scenery, the wonderfule acting, nail biting (and very real) action sequences, and the beautifully haunting score that evokes specific images from the film each time it is heard (in fact, it defines any cross country, must-run-through-the-woods-to- save-the-love-of-my-life scene).
A great love story mixed with the perfect blend of action adventure and topped with a dash of historical reference - this movie has it all!
