Review of The Last House on the Left (2009) by Tony F — 26 Oct 2010
One of the better 'horror-revenge' flicks made of recent times.
Simply riveting.
I have seen this movie before awhile back and watched my new BluRay version (unrated) and knew what was comming and still was in shock and awe.
Great cast of bad guys and solid cast of good guys that mix to give us an explosion of emotion and unspeakable fight for survival.
Garret Dillahunt is a perfect dirtbag.
Sara Paxton is gorgeous and one can't believe that would happen to such a fine/ nice girl. Wrong place at wrong time.
Wes Craven produced this remake of the film he directed the 1972 film of the same name.
The pace of the story is good and never lets you down.
Superb come uppance in the end.
Bravo.
