Review of The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007) by Gregory B — 29 Mar 2009
The best documentary I have ever seen. Granted I haven't seen very many but this one was great. It was extremely funny and had some of the best editing I have ever seen in a documentary, and since editing is the most important thing in a documentary, it really helps.
The story should be stupid, absurd and something I would hate but its underdog story and showing how a man tries to break through the established video game "government" was terrific and riveting.
Overall a terrific way to spend 80 min. Funny, absurd, but also smart and tender-hearted.
