Review of The Jeffrey Dahmer Files (2013) by Michael O — 24 Jul 2013
Well made docu-drama that splices interview segments of people who had connections with Dahmer (the neighbor, the detective, the forensic officer) with recreations of what life must have been like for Dahmer.
The recreations are ok but mostly mundane (no bloodletting here gorehounds) but the interviews do contain grisly details that would make this film not for kiddies (which is what you expect from a film called "The Jeffrey Dahmer Files").
Well worth seeking out for the curious. Talks about Dahmers impact on the Milwaukee community at large making it another victim of the killings. Interesting, fast paced, and mostly compelling.
