Review of The Insider (1999) by Scott M — 08 Mar 2009
An overlooked gem with excellent performances from an amazing cast (not just Pacino and Crowe, the whole cast is recognizable and amazing). The film is tense as hell, and shows what would happen if the plot of a John Grisham novel happened in real life.
My favorite performance has got to be Christopher Plummer playing 60 Minutes newsman Mike Wallace. I find it amazing that he wasn't nominated for an Oscar for this role.
